Atta plants, maida lines and spice grinders in Noida replace screens by name: SS 304 wire cloth, sifter jali, filter cloth. Garg Industrial Mesh weaves that cloth as mesh × SWG. The metal stays SS 304 when the screen must not rust into the product.
Where SS 304 cloth is used
- Atta channi and flour sifters, usually 40×36.
- Maida, besan and fine spice, usually 60×38.
- Fine powder grading at 80×42, and finer filter cloth at 100×44 and 150×46.
- Vibro sifters and plansifters that already run an SS screen.
- Wet filters where GI or MS would rust.
Why mills stay on SS 304
The cloth sits in flour dust and often in a damp housing. SS 304 is the grade those plants name because the screen has to come out clean. Brass and copper are made in the same counts when the existing screen is that metal. They are not a substitute for an SS food sifter unless the plant asks for them.
How the count is read
20×30 means mesh count 20 and wire 30 SWG. It is not 20 mesh by 20 mesh. Rolls are 3 ft and 4 ft. Send the count that is on the old screen, or a piece of it, plus the width.
Why order it in Sector 9
The same shop cuts SS 304, brass and copper, so a plant that runs two metals does not chase two counters. Address: G-25, G Block, Sector 9, Noida. Call or WhatsApp 9910238277.
