Rice Mill Jali: Which Hole Number Goes Where

A rice mill does not run one hole number. Fine screens, chambers and cleaners each keep the number already in that machine.

Key takeaways
  • Fine rice screens sit on the micro end, including 3 No. and 5½ No.
  • Chambers and graders use 7½ No., 8½ No. and larger.
  • 11 No. is a rice mill and dal mill screen at 4 mm.
  • Match the sheet in that stage. Sector 9, Noida. 9910238277.

Rice mill jali is punched sheet. Garg Industrial Mesh does not put one hole number on every stage of a rice plant. Each machine keeps the hole it was built with.

How the mill does the change

The fitter takes the sheet off that stage only. Fine hopper, chamber and cleaner are not the same hole. The new sheet is cut to the old outline, in SS 304, brass or copper, at the same number. If the number is lost, the old sheet is the sample. Thickness is confirmed with the order.

Ordering “rice mill jali” without a number produces the wrong stage. Name the number, or send the piece.
