Maida, besan and fine spice need a tighter cloth than atta. At Garg that woven count is 60×38, mesh × SWG.
Where 60×38 is used
Maida sifters, besan lines and fine spice cloth. The plant is holding a finer particle than atta, so 40×36 is too open and 20×30 is a pre-screen, not this duty. Finer powder and filter cloth move up to 80×42, 100×44 and 150×46.
Metal
SS 304 for food and wet screens. Brass when the filter or the old sifter is brass. Copper when the drawing says copper.
How mills order it
They pull the worn cloth, read 60×38 off the frame or match a sample, and name the metal and the roll width. Rolls are 3 ft and 4 ft. Garg Industrial Mesh, G-25, G Block, Sector 9, Noida. Call or WhatsApp 9910238277.
